After Alison and I looked at all the cool plants at the Odd Plant Show and Sale, we had to check out Sky Nursery's big fall sale!
Here's Alison considering a Grevillea victoriae. The answer is yes. Sky really has a fabulous selection of plants. Maybe it's a good thing that the nursery isn't closer.
Sigh, Rhodocoma capensis always tug at my heart, especially when they look as handsome as these and on sale for 40% off. However, I already have a couple,
I think I ended up putting away more than I bought as I'd already spent more than I'd planned at the Odd Plant Sale. (I'll never miss that again!)
Alison, on the other hand...well, a gentleman never squeals on his friends. This isn't her truckload but it was really swell to know that others were taking advantage of the savings!
Cacti and succulents are always a presence. This is where I found my, not so little anymore, Agave 'Joe Hoak'
Where's the meat? Carnivorous plants on wheels. Watch out, they look hungry and may be driving to your neighborhood!
Ligularia tussilaginea 'Shishi Botan' is also called Farfugium japonicum 'Shishi Botan' jumped into my cart but came back out again as, you guessed it, I already have one. It's a beautiful thing though.
In the indoor area, I avoided looking at spring flowering bulbs as Sky has an amazing selection and the temptation would be great. I'll leave you with this thought.
Happy fall planting!

So tempting!
