Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day, our monthly floral party, is hosted on the fifteenth by the one and only Carol at May Dreams Gardens.  Do click here to see what's blooming in gardens the world over on this day.

High summer, can you believe it?  Every month I say that this is a special time in our gardens or that I like this month the best but this time I really mean it! (Until next month, right?)   Here's some of what's blooming in my garden this month.

Brugmansias, Begonias, Tropaeolum speciosum, pelargonums.  The largest begonias are Ameri-Hybrids from California.

Did I mention begonias?

Bodacious begonias

Begonias and buckets.  Isn't that pretty?

Begonia boliviensis

Hosta 'Sum and Substance'

Impatiens

Dichroa febrifuga

Hydrangeas

Fuchsia.  Isn't the bungee cord hanger classy?

 Crocosmia

Lilies that didn't fall over in the rain.  These are "Lily Trees" from Brecks. The bulbs are really large and after three years they  have become huge and sturdy as advertised.

Lilies that did flop over in the rain.  I've had them forever and they've multiplied nicely.

Another faller.  They still smell good though!

This arrangement made itself.

Enough with those smelly lilies already!

It was early and the daylilies hadn't opened yet.  The bumblebee didn't seem to mind.

Clerodendrum trichotomum

Roses here and there.

Buddleia that used to have variegated leaves to go with these blooms.  The birds, bees, and butterflies don't seem to mind.

There are abutilons on both sides of the path.

Agastache

The last few Romneya coulteri for this year.

Happy daisies.

Cyclamen.
What's blooming in your garden this month?  Happy GBBD and happy Friday!
