I've had this glass top hat for a while. It acted as a receptacle for an amaryllis in the greenhouse but that's done blooming so it came inside to be washed and be put in the attic.

I've had this glass top hat for a while. It acted as a receptacle for an amaryllis in the greenhouse but that's done blooming so it came inside to be washed and be put in the attic.
The gnarly branches from my Monday vase a couple of weeks ago had been found on a walk this winter and sat outside for many weeks waiting to be put to use.
On Easter, they surprised me with a little magic.
This weekend, the buds began opening.
So there they were in the butlers pantry, the magic hat and the magic branches just begging to be put together.
There seemed to be a tenant in the newly-washed hat and he was not entirely happy to be evicted but was appeased with a book he found rather interesting. Since he's accustomed to being pulled out of a hat periodically, he won't mind a little time on the outside.
Not much of an arrangement really but it was fast and fun.
