Our neighborhood grocery store, Stadium Thriftway, has a great floral department that often has unusual blooms and fun potted plants. Last night, it was a surprise to see these bouquets including leucadendron, nandina(?) berries and cut succulents. Interesting, colorful, and with the added bonus of being able to root a new plant as well.
Color this now I've seen everything. On a table just above those bouquets were "Bagged Echeverias." No roots, just the cut top which would, of course form roots if placed on soil or even if not. However, for $8.99, I'd rather get a four inch pot of dirt full of roots than a decapitated echeveria in a plastic bag that would be tossed out. Cute gift idea though.
Happy weekend everyone!
