A day or two before the 12th x 12th event, Nadine shared the following two pictures on the event's facebook page.
Nadine considers her garden part of her art. "I created Artful Dreamers Studio, new in Tacoma to share ART with everyone. I give workshops to encourage everyone to create. I teach an easy way to paint & more... My husband and I moved from Florida to live closer to our kids in October 2013, where I had a studio and worked with kids, seniors, people in recovery sharing art because I believe art heals everyone & it is tons of fun.
Unfortunately only one person from the event found Nadine's garden. There must have been something strange with the address on the map as I punched a couple into my phone's GPS that returned strange messages about not existing.
One doesn't often see a suit of armor in a garden! This was definitely a garden I wanted to see!
On the day of the event, I had to work in the afternoon so only had a couple of hours to see as much as I could. While the map was great, it listed all of the addresses but didn't say which were garage sales, open gardens or both. Given a bit more time, it would have been great to see all of the listings. Anyway, I missed Nadine's garden but later contacted her and she sent more pictures; here they are.
