Wednesday Vignette

A few weeks ago, my friend, Anna at Flutter and Hum, started a new meme called WednesdayVignette.  The meme celebrates combinations of all sorts that we find visually arresting and I'm finally joining in the fun.  My first contribution is this color and form combination recently espied at Vassey Nursery.  I'm a fan of turquoise pots (well, and orange, red, chartreuse...) and spheres.  I've seen these metal spheres in various gardens but this pot placement is especially pleasing to me. You really can't go wrong with the color combination, either.

Notice the rain water in the pot at bottom center. That's what drought looks like in the Pacific Northwest.  Drought has been declared in some areas already (not our county yet) because of the low snowpack in the mountains, the result of our warm winter.
