On Tuesday, school was cancelled again even though the snow had stopped falling. The clouds cleared and the sun began to warm things a bit, not much above freezing. With no sand on many streets, things remained pretty slippery.

Tis doesn't happen often here.

Chimonanthus praecox doesn't seem to mind but maybe the blooms are just frozen in place.
'Chief Joseph' looks quite fetching wearing winter white.
Well, at least part of my garden is still in zone 9.
Time to leave the greenhouse and go out to face the frozen world again.
Someone loves this weather but it sure ain't me.
