The Tacoma Home and Garden Show Part Two

This post is mostly about the Vintage Market but in looking at my pictures, I noticed a couple of things I forgot to add to yesterday's post.

Marcus Harper  is always coming up with something new  and this season he's introduced these cool fused glass pieces made from glass powder.

You may be familiar with his work from other garden festivals in the area.

There were various talks given in the stage area but this guy drew a large audience. I've never watched the tv show so had no idea who he was.

Folks were interested  in Brett's  talk.  I was  impressed with the set.  How fun is that?

Meanwhile, at the vintage market...

Isn't art deco stuff fabulous?  Loved this chandelier!

Sorry,  I forgot who was responsible for most of the displays but for a complete list of vendors you can look here.

Christy at The Urban Gardener always does a great display.  She's also a garden designer and  I appreciate the way she blends vintage items with plants.

I meant to go back and pick up a small flower frog as all of mine are too large for small winter arrangements.

Oh my, that cage would be fabulous in the garden and it was reasonably priced too.  I must have been tired after working all week because it seemed like too much of a hassle to schlep it to my car.

Like visiting my past.  I'm also vintage now. Yikes, how did that happen?

This almost came home for the greenhouse but there seems to be more than enough out there already.

Love the idea of creating lamps from vintage glass pieces.

The woman who makes them was kind enough to share with me what adhesive she uses.  Turns out, there's already some in the adhesive drawer  of my studio.

Creative use of a claw foot bathtub.

Looks like you could take this rickshaw to any global destination.
Did you see anything that you need?

Have a good weekend all.  Only three weeks until the Northwest Flower and Garden Festival and 29 days until spring!
