Driving around town at this time of year is a visual delight as the foliage of deciduous trees is glowing with vibrant color. In my garden there are lots of colorful berries and seeds at the moment so I decided to throw some of them together in a vase. They include Euonymus europaeus 'Red Ace,' Iris foetidissima, and Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii 'Profusion' (Beautyberry.)
We'll tone it down a bit with foliage from Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' and Polygonatum odoratum. There are a couple of spent blooms of pokeweed in there too.

Magenta, orange, and purple. Well, it's a bit bright...

This guy hitched a ride inside on one of the plants.
Joining the vase are a couple of glass crows enjoying an autumn snack.
